On the main website, you will see something slightly different in the navigation menu. Instead of "Come Into My Parlor Home", it says "The Mayfair Witches Parlor".
The site's formal name will remain "Come Into My Parlor", but as the site evolves and embraces the Internet of today, it was time to look at ways to simplify the naming of the site and various pages while fine-tuning them.
This is primarily due to social media, but the site itself could use a little adjusting on the names of pages, as well. It's more simplified but more precisely identified as "Mayfair Witches" rather than simply "Mayfair".
Facebook is the social media platform that has utilized the new "Mayfair Witches Parlor" handle the most. The blog this Parlor Chat is on has gone by this user handle longer. Soon, the Parlor's YouTube channel will reflect this change. The Parlor's email will stay the same (thank GOD; I'm getting tired of having to establish new email addresses for the site).
Speaking of YouTube, instead of the Parlor's YouTube videos embedded, you will see the video thumbnail as a link to view the video on YouTube directly. Not all of the Parlor's videos can be found directly on YouTube; you will still need to find them on the main site to view them.
Eventually, Instagram will return to the Parlor. In the meantime, the Parlor's Facebook page and private group are active, and some of the digital content I make for the Parlor can be found on my own Facebook profile.
I have added links to Anne Rice's official social media (why have I not done this BEFORE?!) , which at the moment can be found on Remembering Anne Rice. As her estate prepares a new site for Anne, you can still access her website that she has had for many years, which is now archival. That link can be found where her social media is linked on the Parlor. Of course, you can also find those links on the Home page of her archival site.
I wanted to let you know that if you see "Come Into My Parlor" and "The Mayfair Witches Parlor", they are one and the same. Hopefully, Google's crawlers (which I happily and shamelessly keep hopping and moving) will begin to reflect some of the changes soon.
