It might be safe to say that Season 2 of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches on AMC is either soon to start filming or has already started.

As we begin to speculate on how the events in Lasher, the second novel in the Lives of the Mayfair Witches series might translate to the screen, I've set back to public a little video I made several months ago.
It is the poem from Lasher. The poem is shown stanza by stanza over clips from the series (brief ones) and a long version of one of the songs used for promotional materials for Season 1. In the video, it will give you the page number in Lasher (Mass Market Edition 1995) the poem first appears on. I go into varying amounts of detail on the Parlor's YouTube community tab, but more so in the Facebook private group.

I think the poem, which is a prophetic one, really crystallizes the stories of the Mayfair Witches, breaks down where they were in the past, and are at present. It carries also an ominous warning of things to come and what will happen if the warning is not heeded.
The video has been set back to Public on YouTube. I have heard now and then that it was Stan Rice who wrote the poem for the novel, but I don't know for sure. I wonder if it will surface in Season 2, myself!
